What Does This Septic Installer do During a Quiet Chester County Winter?

Chester County Septic, LLC shows a unique perspective on what an expert operator can do when it’s too cold to install.

Spring, Summer and Fall are full of 15 hour work days and 6 day work weeks.  Working diligently to install septic systems all over Chester, Lancaster, Berks, Delaware and Montgomery counties.  Winter is tax season not to mention the best time to clean and organize the shop and supplies, service all equipment and make sure the office is in order; but when the snow falls . . .

My husband, Owner and Operator, Angelo Melasecca works hard so he can play hard.  The video below is a prime example of a fun way to make sure your equipment is operating to its fullest potential.  It’s amazing what fun a snow tube and a mini excavator can be.

Our family has always been involved in extreme recreational play and has enjoyed basic sledding and pulling family and friends around with the ATV.  Most sleds didn’t hold up to the abuse of a rocky field or old corn stalks.  Angelo researched a commercial towable tube (much like what you would see attached to a boat or Jet Ski) and purchased two.  These tubes have held up very well.  The only issue was getting sprayed with the snow from the ATV and not enough goggles to go around, but Angelo remembered a video of an excavator pulling a water skier and thought “Perfect!”  A $20.00 rope and 10 minutes later;

Please don’t try this at home.

While he wishes the snow would last longer, spring approaches before you know it!  The septic installation season usually begins after the last snow, in some cases the ground must also dry out.  While septic installation can be weather dependent, service work can be done as long as the system components are accessible.  Servicing your septic system regularly is important to ensure your system operates as long as possible.  A properly functioning system makes for a smoother home resale; if a move is your future.
