Septic Systems

Septic system prices can range greatly.  This is because of all the different types of septic systems and soil conditions.  For instance, soil quailty generally dictates what type of system options you may have.  Installation prices can range start around $18,000.00 for a small standard gravity and as much as $50,000.00+ for a dwelling in poor soil conditions.  Average costs are generally between $20,000.00 – $40,000.00.  These prices are estimated because each septic system is unique and designed for your specific needs.  For standard septic testing Chester County Septic’s cost starts at $1,650.00, this is not a part of the installation cost, restrictions apply.

Septic System Inspections

Inspections are usually required for home resale.  An inspection verifies that the existing septic system functions as designed and is able to support the maximum flow of the household.  Chester County Septic, LLC is PSMA Certified and can perform a PSMA Certified Septic Inspection.  Our inspection costs start at $450.00.  There are almost always repairs that are needed to bring a septic system up to par.  Most repairs are minor, like a drain cap or a pump and haul.  On other occasions a complete system replacement is necessary.  Whatever the issue, Chester County Septic, LLC is qualified to assist; please call or email with questions or pricing.

New or Replacement Septic Permits, Testing, And Design

Firstly, an application is filed with your local regulatory authority.  Once the application is filed we can schedule a date to begin soil testing with your local inspector.  Scheduling usually takes 1-4 weeks. We make every effort to schedule at the inspector’s first available date. Soil testing will determine the type, size and location of the septic system. Once testing is completed the design will be prepared and submitted to the health department for approval.

Septic System Installation

Upon approval of the design, installation can begin. Chester County Septic, LLC can install any type of septic system; some of which include:

Some system installations are weather dependent, however; with good weather, normal installation on a residential septic system takes between 4-6 days.
